Creative Advertising Campaign
The Bradley brand is named after former naval officer Bradley Snyder, who became blind defusing bombs in Afghanistan. Eone timepiece is the key product of the brand to solve a problem: to tell time, especially for people who are vision disable have had to choose between intrusive talking watches, or fragile tactile watches.
My team's assignment was to create an advertising campaign for this product in Vietnam market to raise awareness of product's uses and to inspire people with disabilities.
My Role
Market Research
After researching, I found out that there were many products that offer the same function but without innovation, care and creativity. Products for the disabled were not having proper and serious recognition from businesses to ameliorate products/services that truly thoughtful and made people’s lives better.
Brand Research
Very inspired content about Bradley Synder and his story of overcoming inferiority complex that worth sharing. If this product had launched in Vietnam, it would have been opportunities as 36 million people had been suffering from refractive problems without having specific solutions for their situations.
Target Audience
I illustrated my TA as a person named Nam - visually disabled. He was 30 years old, working as a researcher. He was an active and adventurous since he considered his poor vision could not stop him learning about the world. However, with stereotypes from society, he still felt insecure about his difference - he tried to avoid talking about his vision with others.
Insight
Cristina Hartmann - a writer and bibliophile. Her work was to explore the identities and relationships through disability experiences had once said “The most destructive part of losing one's sight is the feeling of incompetence”.
#quote of the day
"I will not let my blindness build a brick wall around me. I would give my eyes one hundred times again to have the chance todo the things I have done, and the things I can still do."
