Owned Media Ecosystem

This was an ambitious campaign with the involvement of numerous internal and external departments, one thing to make it more challenging was the time frame was also short (it was 4 months at first and then extended to 6 months) for this big project.

Project Management: Due to the specialty of this campaign, I had to "make friends" with unfamiliar things to me as wireframes, sitemaps, UI, UX, UR flow in web design & many electricity terms to understand the problems and to convey the messages, issues between internal and external.

Besides the limited time and large amount of work, one thing to notice was the details. From collecting each approvement of each department to noticing the colors, icons, words... helped me strengthening detail-oriented skills.

 

Daily report: With hundreds of updates per day, it could create chaos without reporting the work process and changes and it also helped me in following the project more effectively.

Client management: this project stood in need of communicating and exchanging information day to day to update quickly the changes and problems to reach customers' needs; setting credibility and positive impression for the future cooperations.

Lessons learned:

• Doing less, thinking more: overwhelmed with enormous workload made me just do the work but thinking about to to do it logically and more effectively to save time and effort. This became a lesson for me of thinking how to optimize the work, slow at first to think but firm and productive later on

• "Meet me halfway" by meetings: Countless meetings occurred for both parties to meet the middle line, present new options, receive feedbacks, agree on the way of working... with the participation of client's different position levels was truly meaningful to push the work forward, together

*All of my work in this project had a support and training from a Project Manager, I sincerely give my manager the credit as I could not complete the job properly without her
