Social Content Management
So it has been 7 years since Grab Vietnam entered the S-shaped country, to celebrate such special occasion, Grab had launched a big campaign on social media to target the young. The campaign gave huge promotions for consumers to all services under the brand namely, GrabCar, GrabBike or GrabFood - the project I was in charge.
My Role
Project management: The campaign just lasted for a week and I received the brief the day before it started, it was an overwhelming week for me as I had to:
-
Made sure 55 posts/contents would be all executed and aired in 1 week
-
Communicated with social pages, groups, communities, individuals to place orders and gave out guidance
-
Negotiated with above suppliers about the price, quantity, deadline or content quality if needed
-
Controlled suppliers' content quality
-
Transferred the content to client, received feedbacks and gave feedbacks almost ASAP
-
Monitored aired posts to track audience engagement to have suitable adjustments for the next contents
-
Adjusted quotation
-
Processed payments for suppliers who required payment in advance
-
Processed contracts with suppliers
Client management: Regarding to the peculiarity of such a short time project, I had to communicate with the client regularly and also negotiated inappropriate requirements or changes in terms of time limit or ideation.
Lessons learned:
-
Go for it: one week of madness but I treasured the experience, it was large amount of work in a short amount of time. In the end, I think with this kind of project, it is fun to do as I have a chance challenge myself and a really good time observe the creation stages of young social groups/communities that have interesting contents to read
-
Self-care: to go for it, I need to go for me first, it is about the work-life balance skills. I can keep up with the heat and hard work afterwards only with a good health status and enough time to relax
*This project I worked as a freelancer for an agency
