Strategic Communication Plan & Brand Image Retainer
Hoang Huy Group has 3 main businesses: motors, finance and real estate - the key business that is already well-known especially in Hai Phong with projects range for low, middle to high income. The company now moved their investment focus to Hanoi market, which required a proper communication strategy and a good brand image towards the capital citizens.
My Role
This scheme was divided into 2 parts, which were communication strategy planning and image retainer (PR-related). My role was to manage in general the work of internal teams and communicate with client:
Project management: Supervise the workload and work flow of 2 projects at the same time of 1 client and both required deep research and knowledge, which helped me in understanding more thoroughly about the brand and client's needs in order to suggest/brainstorm with internal members.
Report & meeting: I had to report generally the social listening weekly to the client, however, at some special time such as media crisis happened, it would shifted to daily update or even hourly update. The meeting would be hold at least twice a month with the relevant departments, manager level or C-suite executives to interview or present communication strategies, training sessions...
Client management: due to a big workload, keeping contact with the client became essential to identify customers' needs; establish trust; setting revenue targets (for the quotation) and develop custom solutions based on the challenges involved.
Lessons learned:
-
Time and workload measurement: it is important not to break the deadline with client, hence, one thing to keep in mind that measuring the estimated time and internal's workload to complete the tasks is always a thing to do first
-
Be updated: news or changes in client's company also a thing to have an eye on as I want to enhance the relationship and to forecast issues they may have in the future for better crisis detection
*All of my work in this project had a support and training from a Project Manager, I sincerely give my manager the credit as I could not complete the job properly without her
